Love and Hip Hop LA has closed out another season, but I'm not too unhappy, because another Love and Hip Hop season has begun. The new season of Love and Hip Hop New York premiered on November 26th, and it is packed with drama, and this is promising to be an exciting season. Joe Budden is back on the show. He is having issues with his wife, Cyn. Joe said outright on the show that their problem (storyline on the show) is not so serious. Cyn might disagree with that. She's not feeling the love from her husband. She thinks that they need more time alone together to balance out the time that they are spending with their newborn. In other words, Cyn's feeling neglected. She planned a romantic night with her husband at a hotel, and he just wanted to go home (and maybe go to sleep). How frustrating!

Then there's Alexis Skyy. She also has a young baby, but her baby underwent multiple brain surgeries and Alexis herself almost died while giving birth. On the show, Alexis revealed that everything was going okay with the baby and man whom she says is the baby's father, until they had a big argument. She is now trying to get him to be a father to the baby girl. She wants him to get a DNA test to prove (to him) that he is, indeed, the father. So, the alleged father is rapper Fetty Wap, and on the show, he wasn't returning Alexis' calls. She saw him face to face, when she went to a business meeting to sign a contract. Alexis said on the show that she's "doing music now." There's going to be a problem, because Alexis was furious with Fetty on the show, but they will be around some of the same people in the music industry. Alexis has to stay business-like on the job, when she is so angry with one of her colleagues in her personal life.

Kimbella and Juelz are also back on Love and Hip Hop New York. Unfortunately, Juelz is in trouble and could possibly do some time in prison. Kimbella has always wanted (in show storylines) a happy family with her man clean, faithful to her, and balancing home life and work life. What's wrong with that? Yet, now Juelz is on house arrest, but he's not living at home. Juelz and Kimbella are not married, so the court appointed his mother as his guardian of sorts. Kimbella and Juelz are worried about him having to go to prison for a few years on charges related to having a gun in the airport and fleeing. Juelz admitted that he had been addicted to prescription pills at the time, and he didn't even know what was going on. The 30 days that he spent in jail helped him get clean of his addictions. So, on the show, he's under house arrest, waiting to go to court, and Kimbella is raising the kids.

Safaree is back in New York, and he's already offended some folks. He performed at the Dyckman Park basketball tournament and was booed. People were throwing stuff at him. Safaree had the DJ turn the music off, and he told the angry crowd that he has had sex with women that they can only dream about. The people in the audience threw more stuff at him and Safaree couldn't finish his performance. Safaree is trying to be hard, yet he was on the radio station crying in an interview. Joe Budden had a talk with him and basically told him to stay in his lane. He should perform for HIS audience (women seem to love him).

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
