Don't forget why you loved working for Disney. Don't forget the magic. And the cute nuggets. And all the wonderful people you got to work with everyday. Don't forget how cool it was the first time you walked through the utilidoors and how surreal it felt walking through Magic Kingdom the night of traditions.

Don't forget how much you LOVED training and getting to learn all about your amazing amazing role. Don't forget the friends you made there and how much those 6 people mean to you. Don't forget how you thought you could see yourself being one of those trainers someday, teaching brand new blueberries all about what it means to wear that shirt, and that name tag, and to have that pouch on your hip.

Don't forget all the wonderful characters you got to work with! Remember Peter Pan on your first night running though the Contemporary? Or talking Scottish the day after you worked with Merida just because you got used to hearing it? Remember how much you LOVED working at Ariel's Grotto and telling little guppies to swim "all the way in" repeatedly because you know people never come far enough into the Grotto the first time you ask them.

Remember the first two weeks of your extension where you got scheduled nothing but the hall? And how at first you rolled your eyes and said "oh no..I've become one of those attendants...the ones who only get the hall.." but remember how quickly you loved it? From the start you loved working with Rapunzel because after all she is you favorite! And because of that you fell in love with Tiana and realized how very special she was. Never forget how she told countless little princesses that it takes hard work to make your dreams come true. What Tiana didn't realize is that you needed to hear those words too.

Remember how you avoided the blue side of the hall for so long? For the silliest reason ever...you didn't know anything about Elena. Ummm she's Spanish? She's from Avalor...she wears a red dress and talks a lot about Tres Leches Cake...and at the time that's kinda all you knew...but thanks to Elena's friends, you heard about her story and learned to love that crown princess oh so much.

Never forget how special it was to watch young princesses faces light up when Elena started speaking the language they understood. It is the most magical thing in the world to watch. Never forget how protective you became of people wanting to skip Elena..(yes I understand she is from a Disney junior show and you have no idea who she is but I promise if you just talk to her you will LOVE her!!)

Don't forget how much you loved your job. And how even on the worst days, you would talk to a cute little kid who loved the character you were with that day and it reminded you why your job is so important. Remember how sad you were to drop off your last blueberry shirt at costuming and say goodbye to the people you had grown to love seeing everyday at work. Most importantly never forget that you got to be part of the legacy Walt Disney started so many years ago and continue to grow the magic that so many people hold close in their hearts.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
