The places to go are endless and my mind, heart, and spirit is always looking onward towards the next, exhilarating adventure. As I get older, traveling gives me a feeling and a high I can’t get anywhere else; my heart is happiest when I’m boarding a plane, knowing a new destination is waiting for my arrival. Early on, I realized I had a restless soul that craves new environments of places I’ve never been before— I can’t stay in one place for too long and it’s best to embrace my need for a nomadic life. Embracing new places with open arms has become a talent of mine because the freedom I feel as I take in breathtaking sights and discover new things about myself is liberating.
Traveling has a way of bringing out your true essence as you experience new cultures, foods, scenery, and entertainment. I recently experienced New York City and that is definitely a city worth visiting; although I’m originally from Chicago, every city has their unique quirks and charms. I have an adventurous soul that craves fast past events like concerts, plays, shows, and upscaled eateries, but my true joy comes from visiting and exploring new beaches and not having a schedule at all. Getting lost in a new place is my kind of adventure— coming across a hole in the wall to eat at and strolling through some markets to find a unique gift is my favorite part about vacationing.
Traveling is the one thing that fulfills my adventurous soul.
