As any Florida native knows, cold fronts can be a real pain in the ass, especially when they come out of nowhere and you're not prepared. As a local that's been living in the Panhandle for the last four years, I'm still trying to understand how to function in the cold weather. I've taken advice from Northerners who experience actual cold temperatures (I'm looking at you, Northern states in subfreezing temps) and I've found it very important to be prepared for any type of cold weather.
These are the basic but completely necessary essentials for unpredictable Florida weather, or really, any cold weather for the first time you leave Florida.
