It seems that just yesterday summer was just beginning and we all agreed it was going to be the best summer ever. Well, now it’s August, and let’s be honest: it was probably just an average, old summer. Regardless, it’s hard to accept that soon we’re going to be back to the books and the sunny days of summer are soon to be over. There are some stages to accepting this sad fact though!
Stage 1: Denial
“Nope, this can’t be happening. It’s still summer. School is too far away of a thought.”
Stage 2: Anger
“No!! This is totally unfair! I didn’t even get to do half the things I planned!”
Stage 3: Bargaining
“Okay, okay. At the very least, I get to see my friends again. That’s a plus, right? Let’s just focus on that!”
Stage 4: Sadness
“I move in way too soon! Why does summer have to end?! This can’t be!”
Stage 5: Acceptance
“Fine. Let’s just get this over and done with already.”Whatever stage you’re at, look on the bright side! December is only a few months away!
