Mitch Albom's critically acclaimed book "Five People You Meet in Heaven" finally came out with a sequel that lives up to all of the 'feel good' and heartwarming fuzzies inside. After 15 years of not knowing what became of the little girl that Eddie saved, Albom comes out with "The Next Person You Meet in Heaven," depicting the life of Annie and how she ended up in heaven. The moral of the story, I would say in both cases, would be to make the most out of your life and maybe someday when you are in heaven you would be able to already know the meaning of your life on Earth. There are many lessons that are depicted throughout both of these books and some, I think, hit really close to home.
Both books speak volumes to readers who wonder about the afterlife. In a philosophical and witty manner, Albom encompasses many aphorisms that hold true for everyone and it is up to the individual to interpret it however they want.
