Moving back into college after going home for the summer comes with tons of mixed feelings. After the excitement of the first year of college wears off, you begin to notice how tedious moving in is, how much you don't want to start classes and how unexcited you are going into the year. But as we all know, it isn't all bad, and beginning school again has some pros, so naturally, I have gathered a collection of "Shameless" gifs in order to sum up exactly how all of us returners are feeling.

When you realize you have to move into your dorm in the blazing heat and humidity

When you have to say goodbye to your parents, knowing that you now have to support yourself until Thanksgiving

When you and your roommates finally see each other for the first time all summer

Looking at the pile of things you need to unpack

Going to the first party of the year, knowing that you are already avoiding responsibilities

Going to sleep on Sunday, anticipating your classes

Seeing the first cute person in your classes that you know you will stare at for the rest of the semester

Debriefing about everyone who you dislike in your classes with your besties

Realizing that if you can make it through the first week, you can make it through all the rest of them, because you are a boss.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
