Traveling can seem overwhelming and expensive at first thought, but it's easier than you think. The key to traveling is budgeting yourself.

Do you really need a coffee from Dunkin Donuts every day? Cutting back on the smallest expenses can increase your travel funds. One thing I love to do is keep spare change. Most of the time, that spare change can cover a plane ticket.

Even if you only travel once a year, it can still be extremely beneficial. Not only can it help you learn who you are, but you'll also create meaningful relationships and memories, it will give you a new perspective, and it will give you a sense of accomplishment.

Finding yourself can be extremely difficult when you're trapped inside a small town and interact with the same people daily. Traveling opens up doors for you to learn skills you never thought you had. The thought of being somewhere new can turn a lot of people off, but once you're in the moment, you'll adjust to the situation.

The opportunities are endless while traveling. With that being said, you will learn things and meet people who will help you discover who you truly are. It will open your eyes and you'll be able to realize what type of person you want to become.

Creating meaningful relationships and memories is a given when you're exploring the world. It can be scary staying somewhere you've never been before, but that's the most exciting part about it all. You'll be able to meet locals that will help you and give you the inside scoop on the best places in town. Locals force you to look at their hometown from a different perspective. To you, it's a vacation spot, but to them, it means much more than that. It's their home.

Make it a goal to meet people when you're traveling. You could potentially meet someone that could be a huge role in your life one day. The memories are endless. Taking as many pictures and videos as possible are crucial when traveling. You might want to live in the moment without a camera at the time, but believe me, you'll wish you took more pictures when you look back on your trip.

Seeing the world for yourself will blur any judgment you might have on culture or a place. Submerging yourself into a culture that isn't familiar to you will improve your vision and your grip on reality. It can be interesting to learn how different people of another culture live. Their traditions and everyday life are much different than yours. Instead of being blind to it, submerge yourself into it. Learn everything you can from it. You might be able to incorporate some of their cultural habits into your everyday life.

Saving and planning for a trip can be tremendously stressful, but I can guarantee that you'll feel accomplished after you're on your way to your destination. Travelers are usually the type of people to dream big. Because of this, they're able to accomplish many of their goals. The feeling after having a good trip is extremely satisfying and it gives you a craving to plan another.

Why travel? Because you can.

Even if it's to a neighbor state, take advantage of the opportunity to improve yourself and open your close-minded self.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
