Ladies, I'm Living Proof That You Can Still Find Love By Swiping Right

I was contemplating writing this article. I mean, aren't those your best ones? To the girl on Tinder swiping right for your perfect guy – he is out there.

Yes, even on Tinder.

Swiping right was one of my best decisions. Maybe the wine I was drinking gave me the courage to download the app, or maybe it was my giggly new friends on a new campus. We made mistakes in the middle and things got hard, but here we are 8 months later after a break and we are the happiest we've been together.

My messing middles and things that happened aren't what this article is about. This article is about how there aregood guys on Tinder. Not all of them are looking for a one-night stand, or a booty call sending you, "Are you up?" at 3 am. I promise.

You will find the guy who will sit in an empty parking lot talking to you till 3 am instead. You will find the guy who will buy you dinner and make you laugh. You will find the guy who is there for you during the ups and downs. You will find the guy who will wine drunk dance with you in the kitchen. You will find the guy who will sit through Hallmark Christmas movies and will meet your friends (and like them.)

How do I know? Because those are my happiest memories.

Tinder has this bad rep, especially on college campuses. (Well, everywhere else too.) I mean my mom was terrified when I went on a date with this boy. (Who is the love of my life currently.) She was like, "You shouldn't get in the car with him." Yet he was the boy who asked how my day of classes was and asked what my favorite shows were. I wasn't worried because I was already giddy about this boy.

You never know relationships will work out no matter where you meet the person. I wasn't sure where I'd be right now, and I'm so blessed that it's with the boy who I swiped right on. Not all the boys you swipe right on will be this good. I've had heartbreak on Tinder, and awkward interactions with boys in grocery stores and classes. Yet if you're patient you will be surprised.

Because I am surprised that I'm with a boy I met on a hookup app, and I love spending every moment of my day talking to him and going exploring with him.

There are good guys out there ladies, and you will find them in the least expected places.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
