Finals week is quickly approaching and if you're anything like me, you're definitely notready. Whether you started studying two weeks in advance, or you're waiting until the last minute, finals week hits us all; hard. Here's 13 thoughts and feelings all college students have during finals week as told by the cast of How I Met Your Mother...
1. The nights leading up to finals week, you go out every weekend to make sure you enjoy your last days of sanity.
You need to make sure you get all your fun out before finals hit. Distract yourself from the painful week quickly approaching.
2. When your friends tell you, you can't study last minute and still do well.
We all try to do this. It doesn't work. Just study in advance.
3. When Finals Week officially starts and you need to start studying...
At this point, studying is a daunting task. You would rather do anything than actually sit down and focus on your studying.
4. When your teacher tells you the final is going to be cumulative.
Worst. Thing. Ever. You were tested on this stuff already, why again?!?!
5. When all your friends finals are over before your's and you're stuck studying alone.
This sucks. You begin to feel like you're the only person left on campus and you just want to hang out and not study, just like they are.
6. When you've been studying for too long and your brain shuts down.
Your brain begins to feel like mush and you don't know if you're going to make it another moment.
7. When your studying isn't going well and you need to start thinking of new ways to get a passing grade.
Seems like the only person who can help you is up there...
8. When you find the perfect study playlist.
There's nothing better than finding a sick playlist on Spotify. You begin to get sick of it after the week is over, but hey, it did it's job in your time of need.
9. When you and your friend are in the same class, and you do better on the final.
Okay, maybe you don't say this out loud, but you're definitely thinking it.
10. When all you've done is study and you begin to get hungry.
Studying makes us rethink our basic needs.
11. When someone starts talking about something that's on the final and you have no idea what they're talking about.
This could be the most nerve-racking feeling ever. You think you're all prepared but then nope, Becky mentions something you've never even heard of prior to this moment.
12. You have one last final.
This is it, the final stretch. You can do it!
13. Annnnnnnnnd, you're done!
Finally. You made it.
