Junior year fall semester is finally over and I am so thankful that it has ended. This semester felt like it was never ending for me. I knew this January I would be studying abroad in London and the amount of work I had to put into that, along with my school work almost made me want to throw the thought of studying abroad out the window. I was getting stressed out to the point where all I wanted to do was go home.
But everything has worked out in the end if I do say so myself. I applied for a VISA from the UK Consulate because I am interning abroad and I am very excited for that. I plan on visiting all of the UK and Europe, well most of Europe when time allows me to.
I have never been out of the United States before and I am very excited for an adventure of a lifetime. I am very excited to meet new people and experience London and immerse myself in a new culture. Going to museums is on my list for sure, and trying out new foods that I would probably not even try in the States.
However, I am not in Great Britain yet, so all I do is wait until it is time to go. It might be a long three weeks or a short three weeks; I am not sure. But I am ready to go right now, and I cannot wait for the adventure to begin.
Cheers!
