In 2018, the twenty-first century, we have found ourselves in the midst of significant technological advancements which have made our lives much more accessible. Some scientists, theorists and individuals in academics have even predicted that by 2020, we will have computerized brains. Robotics will be ruling humanity much sooner than we may be willing to accept.

With this idea of advancement, we have seen one great thing come to be, that is film and television. This one thing has created a massive industry which has expanded the arts, and in the United States, it's called Hollywood. Yes, there are also numerous other televised productions in many countries around the world. The cinema is something that exists around the globe has the ability to capture the attention of people of all ages, allowing for audiences to come together.

For many millennials, there are numerous books and films that we can enjoy. Some of which exist in both genres. But, when we stop to compare the act of watching and reading where do we find ourselves?

For myself, I have found myself in awe of such product in my life. Why do I appreciate the existence of television and films? Visual representations bring out the intended feelings behind the text; they allow us to take up the scenarios in the movie and even let us take up the roles that are presented in the short time we indulge in them. Though books are just as satisfying, it seems that one may not always be able to keep their interest intact.

When indulging in film and television, there is a secure connection that keeps me interested for hours at a time. This connection is something that is hard to come by in the case of many books. It seems that one can easily find themselves connecting with the visual representation that a book may merely speak of. While words are used to describe the what one may do, feel, and the situation, they may be in, but when it is being played out in front of you, it seems that those situations are easily understood.

With the diverse acting abilities, production, filmography, and vast digital skills there have been numerous adaptations of scripts produced in Hollywood alone. It is interesting to see the works of countless people go into one project. While so many are employed in one film, it seems that a book is the work of merely one individual and maybe those who edit the works. The industry of film and television allows us to explore so many aspects of life through which we can teach people of all ages, color, and gender whom can sit together and enjoy the works. These films have the power of bringing people together.

Fortunately, with the development of technology, we have found ways to get ourselves the film and television to one another quicker. With the development of sites like YouTube we can make videos, share videos, educate one another without leaving our homes and screens. These channels allow for people to show their talent, document things, allow for films to exists on, and even become entrepreneurs. These new ventures are allowing for people to find ways to easily obtain visual entertainment.
