I was a thirteen-year-old girl just happening to become obsessed with the talent show X-Factor at the same time the girls of Fifth Harmony were beginning to audition as solo acts. Five girls came into the competition as individuals and had no idea how their lives would change by the end of the season. The girls were originally eliminated and heartbroken, but things soon changed.

After weighing his options, Simon Cowell, former X-Factor judge, decided it would be best to put Ally Brooke Hernandez, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei into a group which later became named Fifth Harmony after originally being called "LYLAS."

Cabello left the group in December of 2016 which shocked some, but the four remaining girls decided to continue on as Fifth Harmony. They later released an album at the end of the summer of 2017 as a four-piece group which was self-titled. They continued attending award shows, performing and meeting fans. Everything seemed to be fine amongst the group, but on March 19, 2018, Fifth Harmony's hiatus was officially announced.

Fans were shocked and extremely upset, but others claimed they had seen it coming for months now. Either way, this day was not easy for fans of Fifth Harmony, also known as "harmonizers." Especially, those who have supported them since the beginning. Regardless of how things have changed over the years, harmonizers have continued to support the girls of Fifth Harmony and have remained a hardcore and dedicated fanbase throughout it all.

Fans began trending the hashtag #ThankYouFifthHarmony after the announcement of the indefinite hiatus in order for the girls to "pursue solo endeavors." Some wonder if they'll return in the future for a reunion tour strictly, if at all, or if this is just a short break. Many are comparing this situation to what happened with One Direction.

As a fan of the group since the beginning, I will always support each girl in Fifth Harmony regardless of what they choose to do with their career. The five individuals that originally formed Fifth Harmony have changed and shaped my life in more ways than I can even explain. They have provided people from all backgrounds with inspiration and love as role models. Fifth Harmony promoted female empowerment, feminism, confidence and positivity through their music, social media and during interviews/public speaking.

They broke the barrier between fans and artists by creating a family I was able to experience firsthand. I've traveled to see them, spent hours voting for award shows and have met some incredible people along the way. For that and so much more, I will forever be grateful.

What's the future for the girls of Fifth Harmony? I believe it will be success regardless of the path they choose to pursue. Whether they choose a solo music career or something completely different, I personally want to thank them for everything they have done for me over the years and wish them nothing but the best. I will always support them and continue to follow their careers.

Thank you, Fifth Harmony. For making a difference in the music industry and inspiring millions.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
