Online shopping can be very convenient for when you don’t want to leave your house. A plus to it is that there are sometimes things online that aren’t available in the stores. A downside to it is being a college student and not having enough money to buy these clothes. Here are some online shops that are really rad!
Money Key:
$ = Reasonably Priced
$$ = Moderately Affordable
$$$ = Uber Expensive
Nasty Gal ($$)
Nasty Gal was founded in 2006 by Sophia Amoruso and originally started as a vintage clothing shop on eBay. It specializes in fashion for young women, and the shop includes brands like Jeffrey Campbell, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Moschino. There is a foundation called Girl Boss that helps women succeed financially in the future. Apparently, the stores are closing and the online site will change due to it being sold to another company, but THE ENTIRE SITE IS 70% OFF!
Dolls Kill ($$-$$$)
Dolls Kill was founded in 2011 by Bobby Farahi and Shoddy Lynn. The concept is based around 5 "Dolls," each with different personalities and styles: Willow: the laid-back, vintage festival type; Kandi: the rave babe; Coco: the girly girl; Darby: the punk rocker; Mercy: the dark goth.
Each style is unique and there are several clever clothing concoctions to choose from. Their shoes are to DIE for – no, literally, you might twist your ankle in them.
Tunnel Vision ($-$$$)
This shop resembles a collective; many assortments of vintage clothing can be bought on this site. Many of the items on the site say "Sold Out," but if you want to see what’s still available, there is an option to remove the sold out items. You may want to act fast when coming to this
Unif ($$-$$$)
This is one of the more expensive stores, but it’s because of how good the quality of the items are.
O'Mighty ($$-$$$)
The stuff here is hella expensive, but some of the clothing are really cool.It’s a little racy, so viewer discretion is advised, but not all of it is bad.
As a broke college student, I'm not able to buy from all these sites, so I torture myself by looking at them. One day I'll be able to afford clothing from these sites, for sure. Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and H&M will be where I shop until then. If you have the money and love fashion, you should definitely consider checking out these sites.
