Going back to college may bring about a mixture of emotions. There's definitely happiness and excitement, but somewhere along the way you realize... you have to start doing school work and studying again soon. Here's the stages of going back to college as told by Friends.
1. It's the summer. You're bored. You can't wait to go back.
You miss your friends. You miss your college town. You're ready to go back to school and be back in your element.
2. You realize you've achieved none of your summer goals though.
Remember when you said you were going to work out and eat healthy every single day? Yikes. That one didn't really work out. Well, I guess it will have to wait until school starts!
3. You're even at the point where you're sick of watching Netflix.
What else are you even supposed to do when you're bored besides watch Netflix? Seriously.
4. But then you remember going back to college also means going back to studying and schoolwork.
Why can't going back just be hanging out with your friends? You're not exactly sure that you're ready to go back to writing papers and pulling all-nighters.
5. Honestly, though, you know you're becoming dumber by not being in school at the moment.
If you've been taking summer classes, you may have the upper hand here. Sometimes you say things that just aren't very bright. You blame it completely on the fact that you're not currently in school. Taking class definitely makes you smarter and say less dumb things.
6. Anyway, you really miss your friends,
Your friends will always be the thing you miss most when you're away from college.
7. and the thought of seeing them is too much to bear.
It really just can't come fast enough.
8. Although you're not really ready to going back to adulting...
You're not exactly stoked to go back and cook for yourself, study, try to maintain a sleep schedule, and maintain a social life. It's hard to be a college student.
9. ... you know that you'll be happy to be back.
Best four years of your life, right?
