With all of this frigid weather fluctuating all over the place it's easy to feel flustered. Chill out, or heat up with some sweet, saucy, solid sounds discovered by yours truly.

1. aiwake - Crescent Lane

There's not much available to describe aiwake and their knack for music. Deep house roots, Male Vocalism, and style comparable to James Blake are all signatures of this song. If you feel like pontificating on some thoughts- this is the song.

2. Stevie Wolf - Who

Stevie wolf is tallish, and he's like all of us; Human, and good at it. This song is reaching a mythic status in the realm of indie rock, every time I listen to Stevie Wolf I don't think of what he sounds like, or what roots he draws his style from. All you do is realize that he speaks his own truth through his medium of choice (music), and something about that is wholly satisfying.

3. Aaron Taos - Twisted

Here's a thought: Someone who sounds like the Arctic Monkeys, with a unique voice in the game. Aaron Taos is one person, but he more than personifies both of the aforementioned characteristics. Songs like "Off My Mind" "Not Over Yet" and "Twisted" are indicative of a very bright future for Aaron.

4. Para Doc - Saying things

Boy, oh boy. There are so many things to say about Para Doc's very eclectic sound. He has a marvelous combination of understanding rhythm and delicious delivery that anyone could boogie to. As his page says, he really does Make "feel good music with an honest message" , and in all honesty, he's correct in the world needing this kind of music.

5. Great News - TOLD

Before I say anything about this song, let me just say it's an honor to even have it grace my ears. I get chill every time I listen to this song. Great News brought Indie-Punk back with a vengeance. This psychedelic song races out to the nexus of space and back to earth with its Dazey lyrics and relentless melody. The richly layered synth complements the guitar, and the guitar reciprocates the same for the vocals. Enough can't be said about this song, or great news.

6. MAGDALENA BAY - Waking Up

When I listen to this song, I think of one thing: Balance. The amalgamation of synth, male, and female vocals, and a catchy guitar riff leave our ears tantalizing for more. This song embodies the feelings every person catches when they realize they have a crush on someone who has a mutually exclusive crush on them.

7. Western Scene - Strange But True

Western Scene has been around since 2013. They formed in Los Angeles, California then, and haven't looked back since. Their sound is reminiscent of Kings of Leon, but their conscientiousness in their lyrics might say otherwise. While this song could have a plethora of subjective meanings to different listeners the tone personified shows that their articulation of their style is very unifying, and honest.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
