We have Nazis running around our country like they aren't afraid.

My Fears Of Trump Being President Have Come True
Donald Trump's Facebook

I am a white, middle class, straight, Christian woman. The only thing in that sentence against me during the Trump administration is that I am a woman. Nonetheless, I have been terrified since Trump was elected as our President, and after the Charlottesville attack, I know that I was fearful for a good reason. If under the Trump administration people are comfortable coming out as Nazis, then we have a real problem.

We fought an entire war against Nazis, so why do those of you who came out as Nazis think it is okay to call yourself a Nazi and an American all at the same time? You guys feeling that it is okay to show the country what you are to me says that we have a real problem. We haven't had an issue like this in our country in years, and because of this issue, I am afraid that this country is moving backward instead of forward.

The more I pay attention to the news, the more that I realize that since Trump has become our President, we have had more threats of nuclear bombings. While I realize that the Cold War Never ended, I am afraid that with this heat, it may turn from a Cold War into World War Three or Civil War Two.

I have never had a fear of either of these things happening until President Trump happened. He has a way about him that makes people angry, and it isn't because he speaks the truth. Trump makes people angry because he openly hates on people who aren't white, straight, and Christian.

Why did our country make someone President who openly hates on people? Why did we elect someone who won't speak out on what happened in Charlottesville for what it was that really happened? Why are we letting him say that it is the fault of both sides when the fact of the matter is that it is not the fault of both sides?

If he is going to continue to blame both sides when in fact it is not the fault of both sides, we will end up with a problem and in a major conflict either Civil War style or World War style.

We as a country need to stand up against the bull that President Trump is trying to feed us. We are better than this. We need to let Trump and his administration know that we do not agree with all of this. I'm not saying that you have to disagree with everything that the Trump administration is doing, I'm just saying that this is something we as a country need to stand up against. We should shut down the Nazis, not encourage them.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
