Traveling is something that I truly enjoy. I've been to a few different places in and out of the United States, but within the states I've visited: Tennessee, California, New Jersey, Georgia, Texas, and Washington. Outside of the states, I've visited Jamaica and Costa Rica. There are so many more places I'd love to visit, but like the majority of my friends, I'm always doing so much between work and school.
After I receive my MBA in Business Management, I plan on moving to California. Yes, it is a very expensive state, but it is well worth it. Each time I go out there, I get to experience the wonderful landscape that Florida does not have. My brother-in-law takes pride in taking me off-roading, or taking a trip up to his cabin in the desert. He always makes sure I have a good time when I come out there, despite what may be going on at the time. As I said before, the landscape is breathtaking. When I was over there recently, my family and I drove through this mountain to get to my brother-in-law's family. This mountain had ice on some parts of it. For someone who had never seen snow or anything like that, I was quite impressed. Those particular mountains were the only ones that had ice on them; every other mountain had green pastures. I remember thinking to myself: "Duly noted: always take a trip to California during the month of December".
Not only do I love the landscape of California, but the energy out there feels pretty damn good. A majority of individuals I came in contact with were so pleasant and welcoming. In my sister's neighborhood, I've had countless conversations with some of her neighbors because that's how they operate in my sister's neighborhood. It's actually quite refreshing to be around such good energy, beautiful scenery, and family.
Another reason I really want to move out to California is to be around my niece and nephew more often. Most of my friends know this, but I absolutely adore my niece. Yes, my nephew is very dear to my heart; however, my niece just honestly takes my breath away. Every time I go out there, the first day I'm there she acts like she doesn't know who I am. Once she wakes up the next day, she will come wake me up and say "wake up Uncle Robbie". Throughout the day, she will do things and make sure I'm watching her. If I was in California, I could see her often and spend so much more time with her. I want to see her succeed in any and everything she puts her mind to. I want to try to be there for the majority of her major life events. In essence, if I had a daughter, I know exactly how I'd feel about her and how much I would cherish her.
