I can't wait, and not just because I live in a non-air conditioned dorm room.

6 Reasons Why, Yes, I'm Totally Falling For Autumn This Year

I am very excited for the fall season and I hope you are getting excited too.

The outfits!

I absolutely love fall fashion, especially the boots and accessories. So many different options and you can't go wrong! Also, everything seems to be so cozy, especially the sweaters.

Fall activities

The endless amount of activities that make fall "fall" are one of the things I'm most excited for. There's something about the festivity that makes it so fun and lifts the mood.

Halloween

I love Halloween so much and I'm especially excited for this year because I'll be at URI. Halloween will definitely be an experience and I am living for it.

The drinks

On those cold fall days sometimes all you need is a cup of hot chocolate/tea. I can't wait for all the fall flavored drinks and I will definitely be hitting up Starbucks at least once a week.

Cuddling up in bed with a ton of blankets

In the fall you have the perfect excuse to lay in bed and just be cozy with super fuzzy and warm blankets. This is one of the best feelings ever and I'm especially excited for those days where I can just stay in my bed and watch Netflix.

Tailgating/football

Fall is during tailgate season which is SO much fun! Honestly, I did not know that URI was good at football (well, at least this year they are) but I'm not complaining.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
