It's finally time for the best season of the year! Fall is my favorite for too many reasons to count, but here are just a few!

1. Pumpkin Spice Latte

The PSL from Starbucks is something I look forward to all year long. It's doesn't have too much pumpkin nor does it have too much spice, it's the perfect amount in my opinion. At the end of the day it's coffee, so I'll drink it, but it's some of the best coffee ever!

2. Fall Fashion

I'm so ready to bring out the sweaters and boots. I absolutely love sweater weather! There are so many options and it's nice how you can wear one sweater and dress it up or dress it down. Especially on campus, it'd be nice to sweaters more often because outside it's burning up, but in class it's usually so cold!

3. Football

I'm not crazy about football, but since the rest of the world is, it's fun having it back because social media is full of football news.

4. Makeup

Fall means we can wear more reds and oranges on our lips and our nails! I personally love light colors, but after a few long months of wearing them, I'm ready to just wear more darker tones. Red is my favorite color so any excuse to wear it is great!

5. Holidays

Halloween is great cause all of the haunted houses, pumpkin carvings, costumes, and of course, candy! It's fun seeing all the little kids dress up and walk around trick-or-treating! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving for sure. I love dressing up, spending time with family and friends, and the food is to die for.

Fall is for sure the best season of the year. There are so many wonderful things about it, the list goes on and on!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
