Fall time is the BEST time! It seems like we wait eternities for summer to end so that we can enjoy fall. From nature to food, fall is the perfect season for fun, comfort, and family! I’m into summer and swimming and vacations, but fall is honestly the loveliest season, and I’m about to tell you why!

First off, Fall is just B-E-A-U-tiful. So many changes in the colors of trees and the types of flowers that are in bloom. The air is crisper and fresher, there are fewer insects to drive you wild, and duh, scarves are the coolest accessory.

Speaking of scarves, Fall fashion is EVERYTHING. The cute sweaters and scarves, and the maroons and deep purples. Ugh, I can't say enough. I love wearing huge sweaters and leggings, and sometimes you can catch me in them even in the summer! Don't even get me STARTED on Fall makeup. Brown and maroon smokey eyes, matte nude lipsticks, and the natural look is always IN in Fall. I just love seeing all the colors and styles.

Fall is the season that Thanksgiving resides in, so let's not forget the FOOD! Before Thanksgiving it's time for chili and stews, and then when Thanksgiving does come, sweet potato pie, roasted turkey with cranberry preserves, green bean casserole, buttery rolls and mashed potatoes! Plus pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and spice cakes! My mouth is watering already.

Most people get excited for the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte, as well as everything else pumpkin spice, and while it's tasty, you can't beat a warm hot chocolate topped with marshmallow fluff and chocolate shavings! Hot chocolate is the real MVP when it comes to Fall time drinks. Apple cider is amazing, too!

Last, but certainly not least, my absolute favorite part of the Fall season is snuggling up in warm blankets and watching scary movies/shows with my cats, turtle, and boyfriend next to me (a cup of hot chocolate close at hand). I love going to see aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents I haven't seen in a while and catching up over full plates of food.

My family is and always has been a huge part of my life, and getting together with them is something I usually only get to do over the holidays, so being with them is my favorite part of Fall. My little family at home with my boyfriend and our pets gets more time bonding and I get to catch up with my larger family away from home.

I absolutely adore fall! It's the best season that there is, and it has so much to offer! The environment, the fashion, the food, and family make fall an amazing season! I'm so glad it's finally fall!
