Fall is coming, and all the autumn festivals, cozy clothes, music, yummy foods, and drink and activities are among us. So why not start now making a list of things to do, and start shopping for all those cozy comfy hoodies and boots. Here is a list of activities and foods to try this fall season.

1. Fall Playlist

There are so many songs to add to your fall playlist this year new and old, and some great albums are being released.

2. Fashion

Many people can't wait for fall and all the fashion trends, some just go with the basics of, jeans, boots, and hoodies. But others like trends and some of the trends for this fall season are darker moodier florals in blacks, dark pinks, reds and browns. Crossbody bags are another big trend, as are capes and leather. Suits are also big this fall for everyone that likes wearing a nice tailored suit. Blazers, plaid, jewel tones. chunky sweaters and coats, lace, slip dresses and, of course, boots.

3. Fall Bucket list

There are so many things to do in the fall, so this is the best time to make a fall bucket list. You can do any or all these things by yourself or with others. Just have fun and enjoy.

1. Go to a corn/hay maze

2. Go on a hayride by yourself with friends or a date

3. Drink hot chocolate under the stars

4. Jump in a pile of leaves. You don't have to be a kid to do this

5. Curl up with a good book under a cozy blanket

6. Go to a football game

7. Watch Halloween movies

8. Carve a jack-o-lantern

9. Make a hearty soup on a cold rainy day

10. Cuddle on the couch and have a movie marathon

11. Make your home smell like fall with candles

12. Roast marshmallows over a campfire

13. Go to a haunted house

14. Go wine tasting if you're over 21

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
