Fall Releases 2015
Girl Online On Tour

Fall is a season of change and new beginnings. Or the season of all things pumpkin flavored... OR the season of new releases. I don't know about you, but I LOVE new things. Whether it be a new book (my favorite type of new release), a new movie, or a new album, you can guarantee that I'll be looking into it, if not for purchasing, than just for the sake of learning about something new.

Lets take at this seasons new releases.

1. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

7/10 Stars

Release Date: September 18th

The second installment of the Maze Runner series has made its way to the big screen. Regardless of whether or not you have read the books, which I highly recommend, you should definitely check out this movie adapted series. Maybe start with the first Maze Runner movie so you aren't totally lost, because it's a pretty mind boggling plot.

*There is a fifth book in the series set to come out in 2016 which will be a second prequel to the original trilogy.

2. The Walk

7.9/10 Stars

Release Date: September 30th

This movie is based on a true story of a man whose dream was to walk the void between to the World Trade Center Towers. Sounds like an intense but must see 123 minutes to me.

3. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

4.39/5 Stars

Release Date: October 6th

The latest novel from Rainbow Rowell is said to not disappoint. Now I personally have yet to read a Rainbow Rowell novel, but they are most definitely on my list. Every time I walk into the YA section of a book store, I see that name on the cover a book that is prominently featured on the aisle ends or the tables labeled "Must Read." If not for that, than the rave reviews alone should have everyone lining up to grab a copy and read.

4. Girl Online: On Tour by Zoe Sugg

4.49/5 Stars.

Release Date: October 20th

The second installment of Zoe Suggs Girl Online series. Now, if you're a sucker for some cute teen romance that you'll probably never experience in your own life, I most certainly urge you to read the first installment, Girl Online, ASAP, so you can read this second one as soon as it comes out. I may or may not have already pre-ordered my copy through Amazon weeks ago... You can do so here. (I know I'm counting down the days!)

5. If You're Lucky by Yvonne Prinz

3.64/5 Stars

Release Date: October 20th

If you're into YA murder mystery with the inclusion of mental illness among teens, a pretty hot topic these days, then this book will probably intrigue you. The tagline alone got me hooked, "Is Georgia’s mind playing tricks on her, or is the entire town walking into the arms of a killer who has everyone but her fooled?" I don't know about you, but I'm gonna have to pick up a copy on when this comes out.

6. Selena Gomez "Revival"

4.5/5 Stars

Release Date: October 9th

Selena Gomez is certainly all grown up. While simultaneously standing up for body positivity and remaking a name for herself, she's climbing up the music charts with her latest album, "Revival." I've been binge listening to this on Spotify and I already have a favorite song, but check out all of them!

7. Demi Lovato "Confident"

4.5/5 Stars

Release Date: October 16th

Demi Lovato is also speaking out against body shamers and has really been breaking into herself as well lately. Personally, I love Demi and how positive she has become despite all that she's been through.

8. Avicii "Stories"

4/5 Stars

Release Date: October 2nd

Avicii is well known for mixing the genres of EDM and Country music, which you probably would have not thought possible, but alas a majority of the world, myself included, fell in love with his authentic EDM based tracks and this most recent album does not disappoint.

9. Fetty Wap

4/5 Stars

Release Date: September 25th

Fetty Wap really made a name for himself with his debut single "Trap Queen," which came out last April. After the release of his self titled album last month, I feel like all I hear is Fetty Wap bumpin' from dorm rooms on the weekends, which I won't complain about. His music is definitely catchy and his voice is beautiful.

10. iOS 9

Release Date: September 16th

Over 50% of Apple devices are running on iOS 9 after the update had been out less than a week. "The update is the fastest ever to be downloaded," according to Independent.

11. Iphone 6s

Release Date: September 25th

Based off preorders alone, the iPhone 6s was already on track to beat last years record of 10 million units being sold on the first weekend, according to Wired. As a proud iPhone 6s owner myself, I must say I am definitely happy with my upgrade from the 5s to the 6s.

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
