Let's be honest, October through December is the best time of the year. This is the time where the weather is perfect, the best holidays come, and the cozy outfits are worn. Nothing can beat the sights and sounds of the fall time.

The best things about fall

1. Leaves

Crunching all of the leaves under my boots is something i will never get over. I go out of my way to step on them all and hear that glorious sound, theres just something about it that puts you in the fall spirit instantly.

2. Haunted houses

My favorite activity in the fall is going to haunted houses. The scarier the better just keep the clowns away from me.

3. Movies

Disney halloween movies are the best movies. Halloweentown and twitches are a seasonal must.

4. Pumpkin picking

You spend hours in an endless field of pumpkins to find the perfect pumpkin just to take it home and try your hand at carving and always end up butchering it to no end.

5. Pumpkin spice everything

Thank you Starbucks for supplying the most beautiful drink of all. However, pumpkin spice doesn't stop at lattes, there's food and candles and even perfumes. Fall is the time for pumpkin spice everything and it's simply amazing.

6. Fall fashion

Warm socks, scarves, flannels, boots, hoodies.. need I say more? Fall clothing is the best fashion of the year because it's super easy to wake up five minutes before class and throw on some layers and still look cute.

7. Halloween

Time to get spooky! For me Halloween is tied for first in the race of best holidays against Christmas. I love the decorations, costumes, and handing out candy to kids.

8. Christmas is coming

CHRISTMAS!!! I absolutely love the season of fall; when it's over, the countdown to Christmas begins.

The best three months have officially begun so bring on the most fun activities of the year!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
