Fall break - that four day weekend where college kids catch up on sleep, homework, and of course TV shows. So the most important question to answer for your fall break plans is: what shows are the ones I need to binge watch? Well here's the list of fall break binge-worthy shows.
1. Big Mouth
This show centers around the idea of puberty and overall life as a middle schooler. Netflix really outdid themselves with this original show, and honestly it was one of the best things I've watched in a while. It doesn't hold back, I mean there are even hormone monsters, a pregnant pillow, and a talking vagina. Overall 10/10 would recommend, plus it's only 10 episodes so it's not that intense of a binge. *Not Suitable for children*
2. Game Of Thrones
If you've never watched it you should probably start, but as a warning, it will consume your life. Or if you're like me, take this time to catch up on season 7 (also really surprised I avoided spoilers). So get your bowl of popcorn and enjoy dragons, violence and sex. If nothing else you can just watch it for Kit Harrington because he will always be bae.
3. Charmed
OK so we are going a little more old school with this choice, but totally worth it. I mean is there anything more magical than three gorgeous witches, hot demon husbands and a handsome guardian angel (or should I say whitelighter). If you've never seen this show you're missing out and should binge it immediately. If you've already seen this show I can't explain how much better it is as you re-watch it.
4. Rick and Morty
If you're not on the Rick and Morty bandwagon, where have you been? McDonald's re-release of Schezuan sauce was probably the best marketing idea for both the show and the fast food restaurant. The show definitely is worth the binge and has major entertainment value.
5. Reign
OK, this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it truly is a great show. It involves magic, mystery, romance and politics all rolled up in one. Honestly, even if it's not completely accurate it is a great historical romance. Plus they choose attractive actors, which never hurts.
6. American Horror Story
Is there any show more perfect for October? This show delves into the horror genre, by exploring not just creepy things, but also human nature. No matter your likes and dislikes there is at least one season of AHS that you will fall in love with. For me personally, it was Coven. So go be free and enjoy.
7. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
This a show meant to be binged, in fact, it's so mind-numbing that you can practically do anything while you watch it. I think this was my go to when I needed background noise and a good laugh. Definitely a show meant to make you feel less crazy, especially if you just had a relationship end.
8. Friends
I mean is there any show more relatable for college students, that isn't actually set in college? Hands down a great show and should be watched by everyone, or re-watched because there's no such thing as watching this show too many times.
9. Gossip Girl
You know you'll love it. XOXO Gossip Girl
10. Riverdale
My love for this show knows no bounds. I mean it's a grown up and darker version of a comic, I don't think it gets much better. Plus - Josie and the Pussy Cats are in it and they will forever be goals. If you like mystery, teenager shenanigans and, of course, a good murder case, this is a show for you.
11. The Crown
This is another one that may not be for everyone but is totally worth the watch if you are willing. It follows the life of Queen Elizabeth from before her coronation onward. Maybe it's because I'm a bit of an anglophile, but this show is a great concept. Long live the Queen.
