Fall is finally here! Friends are starting to come back for fall holidays from school and the weather is perfect to spend some much-needed time with your girl-gang. Like life begins again in the fall so do friendships.

1.Go to a pumpkin patch

Even if you don't end up picking one (which why wouldn't you?) wandering around one dressed in flannel is a guaranteed good time.

2. Go on a hayride

There's nothing quite like sitting too close to your girls waiting for someone to jump out at you.

3. Plan your own Homecoming

If it's an excuse to dress up, eat good food, take super cute photos, and spend time with your friends. Do I even need to explain why having your own at-home homecoming is a good idea?

4. Go Hiking

Not only will you get some fresh air with your friends, but you can also admire the fall foliage.

5. Have a campfire

Not only is it a night in, but it's relatively easy and cheap and it involves s'mores and hoodies.

6. Attend a fall festival

Around here we have butter-makin' days and the Apple Festival. Find your local festivals, put on your sweater, and grab your gals.

7. Attend/Host a costume party

It's an excuse to be a kid again.

8. Have a Scary Movie marathon

You have your friends so it's okay if you don't want to pee alone.

9. Attempt cute fall nails

It might not turn out right, but then you can just paint them a dark red.

10. Get in the kitchen and make something that screams Fall

You could be brave and try something from the Food Network OR you could just stick with your fail-proof pie.

11. Decorate for the season

Whether it's throwing leaves around, throw pillows, or your handmade decor that gets shown off this season, it'll feel like fall for real.

12. Carve Pumpkins

You've already been to the pumpkin patch, why let the fun stop there?

13. Attend a football game

Whether it's to a college game or your old high school team, nothing screams fall more than being in the stands of a football game.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
