I don’t know about you, but to me, every season is an excuse to do all of the things I love in the little time I have left to enjoy them. Life is for the living, and there is no better way to embrace the beauty of the ever-changing year than to do everything you can that relates to it!

1. Go Pumpkin & Apple Picking

Fresh food is always a plus, but it's even better when you get out of your way to pick it yourself. This season, grab a few close family members or friends, find a farm and make a trip out of it!

2. Go to a Football Game

Whether it's a local high school or college game, or you scored tickets to an NFL Sunday Night Football game, tap into your team spirit and support your favorite players.

3. Grab a Pumpkin Spiced Latte

These things are delicious, and a tall order with almond milk and no whipped cream gives me the illusion that it's healthy enough to have more than one a day. (It's probably not, but whatever.)

4. Go on a hayride

If there's one thing I love about Autumn it's the foliage. Going on a hayride or even a long drive and admiring the natural beauty around me is one of my favorite things to do. The changing colors of the leaves just hit a chord of happiness in me that I can't explain.

5. Cook or bake something with seasonal fruits and vegetables

6. Plan your Halloween costume

Whether you get a group together, your best friend, significant other, or go solo--have fun with your Halloween costume and get your creativity flowing!

7. Count Your Blessings

Regardless of the Thanksgiving holiday, every day is a good day to remember what you're thankful for and take some time to appreciate the good moments and people you have in your life.

From September 22nd to December 21st, the fall season is a great time to do the things you love with the people you love. If the ideas I listed aren't your cup of pumpkin spiced chai tea, then you can always try something else too!

Happy Fall everyone!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
