August is here and the fall semester is right around the corner. There's nothing like the thrill of a new semester, but the stresses of exams, group projects, leadership roles and essays are rapidly approaching.

Fortunately, there's a secret to reducing stress, helping you to remember any upcoming responsibilities, managing (and documenting) your time and otherwise ensuring that you begin the semester on your A game. What's more? They're actually really cute. Here's a list of planners to help keep you organized this semester.

1. Ban.do: $20

Like most college students, chances are you're very busy. Remind yourself that your time is limited in the most adorable way possible with this agenda from Ban.do. If that wasn't enough, like all Ban.do schedules, the planner also comes with a page of adorable stickers.

2. XOPlanners: $40

Marble has been having a moment as of late. Although this is one of the more expensive planners on the list, it offers a fantastic breakdown of tasks, room for monthly goals, a bucket list, notes, important information and an overview of the week's deadlines.

3. Blue Sky: $19.99

Flaunt your florals with this horizontal planner.

4. Paper Luxe: $58

Sometimes the simplest designs can carry the most weight. Although this notebook has a fairly blank exterior, there's a splash of color hidden in its pages, just out of view.

5. MyAgenda: $43

I've been a fan of MyAgenda since my freshman year of college. These calendars are customizable, convenient and beautifully designed. Every week gives a motivational quote, and there's also plenty of room in the back for notes. The schedules also come with a built in address book, which comes in handy when you're taking down a professors contact information and office hours during syllabus week.

6. Kate Spade: $36

Whoo, whoo, who's got the cutest planner?

7. The Happiness Planner: $44

Unlike any of the other schedules on the list, The Happiness Planner is as dedicated to promoting your mental wellbeing as it is to your organization. The books offer daily affirmations, a guide to beating bad habits, exercises on self reflection and resolutions, on top of working on a planner that you can use for class assignments.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
