So everyone heard of Alexander Hamilton? One of the founding fathers of the United States of America. He was also one of the men responsible for the Federalist Papers and the first Secretary of Treasury in the United States.

In addition to his accomplishments, he left behind a legacy. A legacy that Lin-Manuel Miranda decided to honor by making a musical about him. The musical has received rave reviews and is heading to Atlanta from May 22 to June 10. Tickets are expensive, but if you want to buy them the link is here. Along with a famous musical comes with some cool fun facts that you'll want to know about this fantastic play.

1. Hamilton was written and composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Yep, that is true and the creative genius also starred as the titular character. He left after the Broadway production, however, he is expected to return for the Puerto Rico production.

2. Not exactly about the musical, but Alexander, Angelica and Eliza's death year all ended with a "4."

Alexander died at the age of 47 or 49 (depending on which source you look at) in 1804, Angelica died at age 58 in 1814 and Eliza died at age 97 in 1854.

3. The play is 2 hrs and 45 min long, but the playlist is 2 hrs and 22 min long!

So basically the performers are singing for about 90% of the play with only 13 minutes of actual dialogue. If you think you can do it, go to the audition link here.

4. The cast is very diverse in terms of color and talent.

Because who wants to spend thousands of dollars to see a historical play that is the replica of your history book. Miranda wanted to cast people who had talent and brought the play to life regardless of color.

5. Like the cast, the music is also diverse and untraditional.

In order to appease everyone of all ages and backgrounds and to make sure no one would fall asleep during the play. Miranda made the playlist to have some urban pop, pop, and a bit of classical music. All the music together fit into one excellent playlist.

6. The music itself tells the story.

Along with the music talking up 90% of the play, it tells a story that you really don't need to listen to the 13 min dialogue.

However, if you like me and too broke to get tickets to see this amazing Musical, there is an animated version of the playlist on youtube that you can watch and it really does bring the story to life. The link is right here.

I hope you enjoyed this article and decided to listen to the playlist. Die-Hard Hamilton fans, Didn't see a fun fact you know, leave a comment below or DM so I can make a part 2!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
