If you've ever talked to me about my favorite book or TV show, you'd know that for a few years I've been beyond obsessed with Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.

Let me just start by saying that if you've never heard of Outlander, you need to HOP ON the bandwagon, because it's phenomenal. I mean, its romance, science fiction, historical fiction, and so much more. It literally takes place in Scotland.

The only thing that makes any better than its gripping storyline is that the man who plays one of the main characters, Jamie, is Sam Heughan.

Hubba Hubba.

I know we all have our specific tastes in what we like in those that we're attracted to, but I have yet to meet someone who doesn't think Sam Heughan is a beautiful human. Take a gander below:

Oh, I almost forgot to mention... He's authentically Scotish. Honestly, there is not one thing that would make him more perfect (aside from if he was my hubby).

So, you may be wondering, "OK, so he's hot. But I don't get why he's so special." Well, let me tell you, friend. Not only is he beautiful, but he's intensely funny. I"ve watched countless clips of him in interviews and on late night talk shows (yes, I'm THAT fan), and I laugh the whole time. He's just so hilarious.

Shall I draw your attention to his physique to further prove how lovely he is to look at, though?

Wow. Just wow. What a man.

I rarely hear anyone talk about Outlander and I think it's something that everyone needs to watch or read. In true fashion, the books are much better than the TV show, but the characters on screen were the absolute perfect choice to play the characters that they do.

Especially Sam Heughan.
