It can be more than a little difficult to muster up the motivation to go to the gym. Even if you pay for membership or its included in your college fees, it can still not be enough to get you to trudge over the available facilities. However, since I am paying for it and do care for my overall health, I do find ways to make use of what's being offered and then some.

1. Fitness classes

Gyms often offer more than equipment and an open area to do whatever you want. Sometimes, people need a little guidance, and working out can be a lot of fun when you do it with others. Fitness classes offer socialization and come in great variety, and you have someone to keep track of what you do and lead you through your workout. You can get your workout while dancing, be it ballroom, belly dancing, Zumba, etc. You can do indoor cycling, HIIT, boxing, or even yoga. So if you can't find it in yourself to lift weights, maybe you can pop in on a fitness class, make some friends, and have fun.

2. Clubs

\What the fitness classes don't offer (and some of what they do) can sometimes be found in clubs. Some of them are not constrained to an hour, and you often end up building closer relationships since it can be more like a team than a class. You pick what you want to learn and find a corresponding club. Your options include and extend beyond fencing, running, archery, and boxing as well. Add a club to your calendar and pop on in to see if it clicks for you.

3. Campus

You don't even have to go to an event or a gym. Make use of your campus. Instead of taking a car or bus, walk to classes or take a walk when you can. You can jog or run, mapping out your university and taking sporadic routes. Jump on a bike, or, if you know how to safely, campus can be great for parkour. Walls and railings function well as obstacles, and it is a good full body workout.

Whatever you wish to do, remember, you are never short of options. Get out there and stay active.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
