Europe has a rich and diverse culture. Its nature offers a lot of different sides and every country had its own specialties. I'm still working my way through all the different countries, but these are some places I find that you have to visit at least once!

1. Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ljubljana is not one of Europe's most known cities, but it is (in my opinion) one of the best. It's very cozy and the river that flows through the heart of the city offers really nice scenery. Only a 30-minute train ride will bring you through the beautiful lake of Bled, a must see! It's not a really big city, so you'll probably only need around four days to see both the city and the lake. But it's worth it, so worth it!

2. 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands

This is my hometown! Although I might be a little biased, I truly think that it's one of the most beautiful cities in the country. It's really old and you still see that old glory. The church, which starting building in 1220 and finished in 1340, is really beautiful and a must-see. There's a traditional Dutch candy store and you Should taste the local delicacy, the 'Bossche Bol'. You don't wanna miss this.

3. Ardèche, France

I've been to the Ardèche quite a few times and every time I love it. You can Canoe, swim in the river, make hikes, visit the little towns. It's just such a nice French region. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, but just go in the summer and hopefully, it'll be alright!

4. Vienna, Austria

Vienna, Austria's capital. It's truly beautiful. The buildings, the parks, the scenery, the palaces. Yes, to all of them. It hosts the oldest zoo in the world and was home to the infamous Empress Sisi. It has beautiful opera houses and you will be amazed everywhere you look.

5. Black Forest, Germany

I love the scenery of the black forest. Most of Grimm's fairy tales were set in this forest and it truly gives you that magical feeling. Europa-park, one of the world's best theme parks, is also in this region and totally worth a visit. You have waterfalls, great hiking places, and truly German restaurants. Go to this region right now, you'll love it!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
