7 Reasons Why The Erin Condren Life Planner™ is the Best Planner Ever
Maya Dalton

Erin Condren initially started her journey as a stay-at-home mom for twins with cabin fever. She began by making her children's birth announcements, birthday cards, and other pieces of stationery just for fun. From there, she was encouraged to sell her work and blossomed into a full businesswoman, with printing facilities in both Los Angeles and Dallas.

Since then, Erin Condren has been featured on The Ellen Show, Rachel Ray, The Today Show, and plastered across all social media platforms. She released her famous LifePlanner™ in 2007, and it has become more and more popular ever since. Personally, I have now used LifePlanners™ for three years.

In honor of the 2018-2019 LifePlanner™being released, here are seven reasons why you should definitely invest in one!

1. It's a beautiful and sturdy planner to fit all of your organization needs

The LifePlanner™ is made in the United States using rich and thick paper that doesn't tear or bend easily. It's also bounded by hand with a coil of your choice -- platinum, gold, rose gold, or black. It includes colorful graphics and plenty of space to include your day to day activities.

2. You can personalize it in so many ways

One characteristic of the LifePlanner™ that I absolutely love is the ability to personalize it. The planner can come in different layouts such as vertical (pictures above), horizontal, and hourly. You can also choose a colorful or neutral color scheme. I love getting new interchangeable covers to match the time of year, as well. For example, I have a cover for fall, Christmas, winter, Valentine's Day, and springtime.

3. The planner comes with stickers

Who doesn't love stickers? The LifePlanner™ comes with sheets of stickers to symbolize a variety of daily activities, such as working out, payday, important tasks, birthdays, reminders, etc. It makes organizing your life way more fun!

4. There are motivational quotes spread throughout the planner

In between each month and in other places in the LifePlanner™, there are motivational quotes. These are great reminders for when I'm stressed and trying to get my life together. Erin Condren really makes her LifePlanner™ in a way that is special to everyone that utilizes it.

5. There's more than just planners

Erin Condren sells more than simply planners. On the website, you can find stationery for any occasion, tools for the classroom, wedding planning, apparel featuring signature graphics, and much more. If you're an organization freak like me, then Erin Condren's website is like heaven!

6. Writing in it is truly relaxing

Something about coming home after a stressful day and being able to sit down with a beautiful and organized planner just feels right! Updating my planner makes me feel less cluttered and calmer about what I have going on. I also use different colored pens for different aspects of my life, so that just adds to the character of my planner!

7. The LifePlanner™ reflects you as a person

Because these planners are customizable and offer a lot of space to organize your life, it becomes your planner! I joke with my friends that my planner is my lifeline. I add quotes I like, tests, deadlines, birthdays, and much more into the pages. It's my entire life down on paper. With that being said, if you're like me and love to stay organized and have a planner attached to you at all times, this is the planner for you! On May 3rd, the new LifePlanner™ was launched, so hurry up and order it while you can!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
