Truth be told, finals week is the most conflicting week of one's college career. On one hand, it's liberating to finally get through it and make it to the sweet freedom of summer. On the other hand, you've considered dropping out of school so many times before the end of the week that you've hardly gotten much studying done at all.
You ask your friends and family for advice on how best to deal with the struggles of finals, and it's all the same song. “Don't wait until the last minute to study" or “get at least seven hours of sleep" or “don't pull an all nighter" or “try not to cry." But you know all these things at this point. It's time for a new, wise voice to tell you how to get your life together before your Saturday exam, and her name is none other than Fat Amy.
1. When it's literally the last day of class and your professor is still lecturing on three more chapters, and you're just like...
2. When you're so done with school and realize you don't have much of a future and start considering becoming an “exotic dancer."
3. When you begin to catch that awful plague that going around campus.
4. When you try to devise a plan to convince your professor that you physically cannot take this exam.
5. When you procrastinate so hard that you actually consider exercising.
6. When you totally tanked an exam but convince yourself otherwise.
7. When you try to convince yourself that the best way to prepare for the next four exams is to not sleep at all and study all night while operating on a Vyvanse and coffee.
8. When your friends ask you if you want to take a quick study break in Tigerland.
9. When you finally turn in that last exam with that professor you absolutely hate.
10. When you have to remind yourself that at the end of the day you're a shining star, and no final grade, professor, or degree can tell you anything different.
