Remember the first of the semester when you had so much free time? I know, no one wants to talk about the unfortunate aspects of the end of the semester. But, before getting to the best of times, we all go through the cramming and stress on the road to finals that seem never-ending. Fortunately, we have the cast of How I Met Your Mother to walk us through it.

1. Checking your grades each hour on the hour to see if any new updates have been posted.

Everyone knows that feeling in the pit of your stomach when your browser decides to load at its slowest rate when you are about to check your grades; refreshing Safari until you are able to see whatever it is you are looking for.

2. Convincing yourself you have time to relax

This is the ultimate downfall. You are sitting in the library. You make the mistake of checking social media and seeing all that you could be doing. You tell yourself you will study later. You won't.

3. That feeling after a night out when you should have been hitting the books

We have all been there. You could have spent your whole night preparing for exams and getting ahead on work, but you decide against your better judgment to take a night off.

4. The mental breakdowns

Mental breakdowns are apart of every college student's weekly routine. However, mine frequent Sunday evenings.

5. When your professors insinuate that you don't need a final review if you've been in class all semester

This is hands down the worse. Because we sat in a class a few times a week, we are experts though, right?

6. Accepting your fate

There comes a point where you sit back and consider the studying you have already done, and if you don't know it by now, you never will.

7. Finishing your finals, and still having a little morale left to spare.

You know, when you call your parents and tell them you're finally done and you expect them to praise you in the highest for doing the bare minimum.

Getting the end of the semester and finals week may be difficult, but in the end, it is all worth it for the nice break awaiting us. Now, if only we had the cast of How I Met Your Mother alongside us in every scenario.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
