If there is one thing that all college kids are good at, it's procrastinating. The school year is almost over and summer is right around the corner, so everyone is focused on getting out of school. All semester, we have been saying things like "my paper..." or "project is not due until April I still have time." Well, guess what? It is now April and the whole semester has flown by. It's time to start every project and paper that's due within the next two weeks.
With this last month of school coming into play, this is the time when every student's stress level is at its highest peak. We worry about specifically about every final coming up in a few weeks, and any other big assignment that's still due. A way to deal with this stress is procrastinating. For me, I am a bad procrastinator. If I have a paper or project due, I'll push it off until the very last minute so I don't have to think about it for a while. All of the sudden, there are only 2 days until the due date and you spend all night trying to finish it and it comes out not being the best it could be.
Even though the school year is coming to a close and you may think nothing could affect your grade, still try to finish everything earlier. If you wait to do every single assignment you have, they will overlap each other and give you ten times the work than you have to do. Take a few hours and lock yourself in the library and just study and finish as much as you possibly can. Procrastination is a hard habit to break, but it's possible to put an end to it.
