August has quickly run upon us. That means school is back in session, college students are decorating their dorm rooms, and adults start working more. There is no better time than now to complete everything you wish you would've done this summer or to knock some things off of that bucket list that has been sitting in your notes for way too long. You can do something adventurous, just relax by yourself, or get outdoors with your friends to create more memories. The possibilities are endless, but time is not. With the spooky season right around the corner, we have roughly a month before summer festivities come to a halt!
1. Go to an amusement park
There is nothing more thrill-seeking than riding roller coasters with your buddies or going down slides at a water park on a hot summer day. I had the privilege of going to both Cedar Point and Kings Island in Ohio this summer. If you live close to either of the parks or are down for a road trip, I highly recommend!
2. Go to a concert
Nothing screams summer more than going to an outside concert with your closest friends or family. You can get all dressed up, take some amazing Instagram photos, and create awesome memories.
3. Go hiking or canoeing
Going outdoors is such a great stress reliever and way to clear your mind, especially before starting up classes again or before a shift at work.
4. Go skydiving
This one has been on my bucket list for a while now. This would be the best and most spontaneous thing to cross off your bucket list before summer comes to an end.
5. Get a piercing or tattoo
There's nothing better than randomly deciding to go get a piercing or tattoo with your friends. It would be a great way to close the summer.
6. Go to your favorite restaurant
My friends and I always go to one of our favorite restaurants right before we go our separate ways back to school. We recap over our summer and, of course, gossip a little.
7. Binge watch Netflix
Is there a show you've been dying to watch this summer, but have been too busy to do so? Right now would be the perfect time to lock yourself in your room before the crazy fall activities begin.
8. Go somewhere new
Whether it's a restaurant, a movie theater, a sunflower patch, etc. Get out there and go someplace you've never been to before.
9. Have a spa day
This is the perfect go-to if you've had a busy summer or you're just dreading going back to school or your job. Take a day to pamper yourself and decompress!
