Human trafficking is the 2nd largest business in the world. It is despicable, and not only applicable to developing nations or a certain type of person. Anyone can be trafficked from anywhere for a variety of exploitive purposes. One way to support the end of human trafficking is to purchase fair trade items. fair trade items are made without the use of slave labor; therefore, anyone who has helped produce that product (from harvesting the coffee beans to packaging the ground coffee) is paid a living wage and are not coerced into that environment.
I chose 10 fair trade vendors. Some I have heard of and have used, others I would love to buy from soon. This list has been adapted from End Slavery Now.
