Holiday movies are the best part of the season. Who doesn't like to sit inside when the snow is falling with a nice warm cup of hot coco?! So why not watch some great movies while you're cooped up. Some movies make you laugh, cry or laugh until you cry. But all movies will fill you with so much joy.
1. A Christmas Story
This movie is an absolute classic Christmas movie and the house is a popular tourist destination in Cleveland! This 1983 movie can be seen on TBS for 24 hours straight every season.
2. The Polar Express
This movie is full of wonderful graphics that everyone can enjoy. I don't know one person who doesn't love the story of a boy riding a magical train to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.
3. Miracle on 34th Street
Oh, how the little girl from Matilda just melts your heart in this movie. Who doesn't want to believe in Santa? Most parents teach their children that Santa is real anyway, so why not believe all over again?
4. A Christmas Carol
I LOVE this movie with Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge! An epic tail of three ghosts was remade again, and this time into a brilliant animated movie!
5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
This is a great movie to watch this time of year. I mean who doesn't want to see an adorable little girl befriend the green Grinch?! And "Where Are You Christmas" is an amazingly cute song!
6. Home Alone
Watch any of them! But watch them in order because it fits better that way. I love watching this kid basically become the smartest kid by tricking robbers and making their robbers wish they didn't even try.
7. Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)
This adorable old-school, classic movie about friendships and spreading the Christmas joy.
8. The Santa Clause
It's not Christmas without these Disney movies! Tim Allen is excellent as Santa, only one problem not everyone knows he's Santa!
9. A Charlie Brown Christmas
Charlie Brown does it again with this Christmas movie! You've watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving now it's time to watch him and his pals at Christmas time.
10. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Disney and Tim Burton came together to make this excellent movie that combines two holidays. Jack, the pumpkin king, discovers a whole new town outside of Christmas Town.
11. Elf
Oh my gosh. This movie is SO FUNNY. I watch this every year with people that I know will joke about with me later and the jokes never get old!
