The Blues and Blackhawks definitely put up one fight this year during the first round of the playoffs. Each game was very eventful, and important to watch if you care about hockey. After game six things started to get very serious and competitive between the two teams, but also the sports fans! Who was going to move onto the second round? They were both 3-3 after game six. Even though the Blackhawks put up a good fight during the seventh game, it wasn't good enough for them too win. The Blues came out on top 3-2. The St. Louis Blues get to move onto the next round! As a fan that kept updated about all the games, and loves watching hockey, I felt so many different emotions when the Blues beat the Blackhawks. I know that every other Blues fan shared these five emotions when the clock hit 00:00, just like I did.

1. Happiness, bliss.

Because everyone felt this exact way when the game hit 10 seconds left. No matter if you were by yourself on the couch, or at the stadium, you were happier than a kid in the candy store.

2. Excitement

No one could believe that what happened, truly did happen. The fact that the Blues beat the Blackhawks was quite an amazing to witness. For all the fans, they were beyond excited to see their favorite team beat their biggest rivals.

3. Tears of joy.

I don't know about you guys, but I personally cried for about 10 minutes after they won. I was so happy for the team I couldn't help but shed a few tears! Though our tears were from happiness, we all know the Blackhawk fans were crying because they lost.

4. Relief.

When the Blackhawks pulled the goalie out to have an extra player all the fans got really nervous. Luckily the Blues made sure they didn't get anymore goals, and everyone could breathe again. A side of relief came though, when the Blues hit the hockey puck across the rink the last 7 seconds of the game.

5. Joy.

Any person that was watching the game wanted to go down to the rink, and personally hug every single player. Those boys played their hearts out on Monday night, and they deserved the winning.

Yes, we all know that it was the first row of the series which doesn't mean a whole lot to other teams, but it means a lot to our team. It also puts the Blues one step closer to possibly winning the Stanley Cup. I have complete faith in my favorite hockey team, and I know that they will play their absolute best in these next coming games. Good Luck boys!!

Loud and proud St. Louis Blues fan! #LGB.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
