Hanukkah is one of my favorite Jewish Holidays; it's eight nights of fun but also eight nights to reflect upon what being Jewish is. Instead of eight presents, I have eight wishes for myself and for things around me.
1. Peace for myself and others
I want nothing but for my anxiety to go away, and wish no internal pain for those I care about.
2. Of course, happiness
Whatever that is for someone, I hope you and myself achieve it without harming others.
4. To end mental illness
I wish mental health issues did not exist, but we need support and love to cope.
5. For my parents to get a break
My parents have seven children (which includes me); they deserve a break
8. For a green and clean future
Peace, love, happiness, Green
Wishing my Jewish friends and family a Happy Hanukkah.
