Election Day is sneaking up on us more and more and it will be here in no time. If you aren't supporting one candidate or the other by now, then you are probably so aggravated by seeing or hearing Trump or Hillary that you have to turn off the TV. The debates have started, you see si many opinions on Facebook statuses, and you know its important to vote, but you cant wait for November 8th to come and go so you can stop hearing about all the campaign talk. This is the first election that I am old enough to vote, but I know I am not alone when I say I really want to sit this one out. However, voting is so important, many people have fought for this right, men and women from our past, and you have an obligation to make your voice heard. So register to vote and hope that whoever becomes president doesn't ruin America.
1. People tell you to “pick the lesser of the two evils,” but you honestly do not want either of them to ruin America.
2. You imagine yourself writing in Beyonce’s name on the ballot in the booth. At least you are voting and using my freedoms as an American citizen.
3. You keep researching the third party candidates because that feels like your only option.
4. You see celebrities and other public figures announce who they endorse and you start judging them. Why do all celebrities love Hillary?
5. When you see a Facebook status of someone you know who is a hardcore supporter of either one you are tempted to block, report, and unfriend them. No one wants to see your opinion, because you are wrong either way.
6. You get sad sometimes when you think about how Bernie Sanders isn't in the race anymore. He would have been running America like our grandpa but nope we are stuck with a liar and a racist.
7. You are convinced that the election system is so screwed up that your vote might not even go to the person you chose. Don't be surprised if either party causes the other of needing a recount of votes.
8. You slightly wish Obama would just stay in office for one more term. Don't leave us with them!!!
