Option4- "The Vicious Rule Of The Safah"

While Denver doesn't usually come to mind when we think of the techno capitals of the world, producer / DJ Option4 is quickly changing that perception. Releasing via Sweat It Out, Option4 lays down a sweltering original titled "The Vicious Rule Of The Safah." A slow-burning track, "The Vicious Rule" sinks its teeth with one of those adrenaline shot breakdowns that commands you attention no matter what you might be doing.

Richie Quake- "Hesitate"

Hailing from Brooklyn, NY producer/vocalist/DJ Richie Quake has caught a reputable buzz in his short time on the scene, and his latest single "Hesitate" makes it clear why. Falling somewhere on the electro-pop spectrum, Quake's "Hesitate" features a smooth vocal set with the kind of lyrics that you'll find yourself mouthing along to upon first listen. Matched with a bass-y instrumental that is heavy on the bounce and flow, "Hesitate" is a mesmerizing whirlwind and must have for pre-games and peak hour DJ sets alike.

Haute- "More"

Soon to come from Parisian label Nowadays Records, the Volume 6 "Fall Tape" compilation will feature new tracks from a dozen of the most promising up and coming producers. Prior to the compilations October 7th release, they're sharing a special tune from the lot- Haute's "More." Falling somewhere in-between the realm of R&B and electro, "More's" unshakeable vocals are the kind that get lodged into your brain with each punchy repetition. Paired with support from 808, synth, and a percussion kit, and the recipe spells a hit.

Cryface Jordan- "Neutral"

Smooth is the name of the game when it comes to vocalist and producer Cryface Jordan. Bringing vibes of Jhene Aiko and The Weeknd, Cryface Jordan's latest single "Neutral" is as infectious as it is catchy. With only a handful of tracks online, "Neutral should situate Cryface on your radar as "one to watch."

Keeper- "Dock"

Labeled as "synth-soul," Keeper's latest "Dock" has me furiously googling the genre to uncover every gem it has to offer. With a little boom-bap, faint piano chords, and an angelic vocals, "Dock" is as gorgeous and catchy as they come. Hailing from Austin, Keeper is a vocal group pioneering the synth-soul genre and also bringing back the live aspect to electronic music. Keep keepin' on Keeper.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
