Let's face it; traffic congestion isn't getting any better anytime soon, and many people are finding themselves frustrated by the ever-growing number of cars around them. If you live in an urban area, or if you commute to work through heavy traffic on a daily basis, you may be looking for alternatives to cars and public transportation. An electric scooter might be the answer you need! These devices are fun and easy to use, and they can offer both convenience and practicality to your daily life. You can learn more about these scooters below!

What is a dual motor electric scooter?

A dual motor electric scooter is a vehicle designed for adults. They are made to assist you with transporting yourself short distances at high speeds, especially if your commute is longer than an average walk. A dual motor e-scooter allows you to travel distances that would be too long to cover on foot or by bicycle, because it assists you with propelling your body forward with power and speed. The dual motor model can climb steep grades and accelerate from 0 to 40 mph in seconds, which is several times faster than standard scooters without electric motors.

If you want to get from point A to point B quickly and easily, then you need a dual motor electric scooter. They can transport more weight than standard e-scooters. The result is that they can carry multiple people and heavy loads over longer distances than smaller e-scooters could. You'll be amazed at how fast these things can go! So if you're looking for an adult e-scooter that offers top speeds, look no further than Varla.

Are electric scooters safe?

Yes, and we're here to prove it. We at Varla want to make sure you know all about electric scooters and feel safe riding them. There are a lot of scooter companies out there trying to cash in on an industry that is just starting out. All of our two-wheelers have been carefully thought out and made with high quality components that you can trust will last longer than your average cheap adult e-scooter being sold elsewhere for much more money. You might be looking at a less expensive model right now, but do some research and find out what others who have owned these same models think after they have had them for a while. One of our most asked questions from customers is if their scooter will break down or if it is safe.

The good news is that when it comes to safety, you can count on Varla scooters. All of our models meet or exceed safety standards for lithium battery powered vehicles. There are a lot of scooter companies who might say their scooter is safe but we know what we're doing and we stand behind our craftsmanship. If your e-scooter didn't come from us here at Varla there is no way of knowing how safe it really is.

Why should I get an electric scooter?

Riding a scooter is a fun and affordable way to get around. Whether you're an adult or a kid, there are plenty of great reasons to ride a scooter. It gets you from point A to point B, can run on electricity, and it's relatively easy to use. Riding an electric scooter lets you enjoy all those benefits but also has other benefits as well. For example, electric scooters typically have better handling than their non-electric counterparts thanks to all-wheel suspension systems. This means that your commute might actually be more comfortable as well as faster! This is because you won't have to worry about hitting bumps in the road – something that could result in bruising if done on a traditional scooter.

Perhaps you're still not sold on electric scooters. They do require charging after all, which can be inconvenient if you don't have access to an outlet or extension cord. However, you might be surprised to learn that most modern electric scooters can run for at least 25 miles on a single charge! That may sound like a lot, but it's actually about average for many e-scooter models. Why is that important? Simply put, it means that even if your commute is average, your battery will probably last until you get back home! If your commute isn't long enough to reach maximum range however, Varla makes dual motor scooters which double your mileage by adding extra power (while doubling price as well).

Do I need a motorcycle license to ride an electric scooter?

A question that is asked all of time is whether or not you need a motorcycle license to ride an electric scooter. The answer is no, you do not need a motorcycle license if you're planning on riding your electric scooter on public roads and streets. However, keep in mind that it's still illegal to operate an adult-sized motorized scooter under any circumstances on sidewalks and bike paths. One thing we will mention is that some states and cities may have laws in place requiring people to register their motorized adult scooters before they can be operated legally—so make sure you look into your state's legal requirements before making any assumptions about whether or not you'll need to obtain a special permit or driver's license.

What is the best brand/model of electric adult scooter?

When deciding on an e scooter for adults, you should determine what type of riding you will be doing. With gas prices continuing to rise, many people are deciding to purchase a motorized scooter for adults in order to get around instead of having to pay money at the pump. While there are dozens of motorized adult scooters available on today's market, not all are created equal. Varla is one company that has put together a quality product with top notch customer service. What makes their motorized adult scooter worth considering?

Varla's motorized adult scooter, also known as an e-scooter for adults, is one of their top selling models on today's market. What makes it so popular? To start with, it features an impressive 40 mile range and can reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour. You won't be breaking any speed records with that kind of speed, but it will get you where you need to go in a timely manner. One thing that separates Varla from its competitors is its high level of customer service.

Alone At The Met

I survive a day alone in NYC.

It was six in the evening. I was sitting in the courtyard of a Renaissance-era Italian villa, glancing around at the statues, most notably one of a boy removing a thorn from his foot. Despite the supposedly relaxing setting, I was incredibly anxious. My phone was at less than 5 percent battery, and once it died I would be completely disconnected from my family and peers, alone in one of the largest art museums in the country.

The Mets And Me

They may be the worst sometimes, but this baseball team has given me more than I could ask for.

On September 3rd, 2001, a sea of children littered my home's navy-carpeted den to watch baseball during my dad's 40th birthday extravaganza. A baseball game flickered on the TV, and a red and blue bubble of a scoreboard sat in the bottom right corner of the screen. The New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies were in a wild game at Veterans' Stadium. As I, a five-year-old boy with a jumble of curly blonde hair, sat in the back of the kid clump, I wondered which team I should root for. After a long debate with myself, I decided that I should root for the team that's winning (duh). But, as the ninth inning rolled around with the Phils maintaining a 7-5 lead, some magic occurred. The Mets put up five runs in one frame, stunning the Phillie fans in the room and winning the game 10-7.
