Dream With Your Whole Heart

Many dreams have failed but there is always tomorrow to dream of new ones.

Dreams- we all have them. Whether they are big or small. When we think of dreams, there are different types we think about, right? Some might think of the dreams that we have while we are sleeping or some might think about dream jobs. No matter what the dream is don't let anyone discourage your dreams.

Our dreams should stay alive in us throughout our lives. They might get more realistic as time goes on but we should dream like we did when we were little kids. Our dreams can change ourselves for the better or they can change many. No dream is unrealistic unless you don't put your mind to it.

A quote by Pope John Paul XXIII says this "Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do." I find this quote very helpful and true for today's society because we find the negative things easier to talk about then the positives.

Many dreams have failed but there is always tomorrow to dream of new ones. Our society today would be very different I feel if Martin Luther King Jr.didn't stand up in front of hundreds of people and deliver his "I have a Dream" speech. No matter if your black or white anyone can have a dream. Stay positive and encourage people to follow their dreams. We might stumble across our dreams by accident and that is just one of the surprises that we get to experience in life. Dreams help our lives become the journey we want to remember in our life.

Dream from your heart and remember everything starts with a dream.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
