The thing about college is that it is unpredictable and it changes every second, somewhat like emotions.
I have decided to double major and I genuinely don't know if I am making the correct decision. Choosing your major, or more appropriately majors, is a hard task and there are many people who are still deliberating their choices. It is difficult to think about what you want to study for the rest of your college years and possibly for the rest of your life.
I always thought that I would be doing computer science engineering or something of that sort and the moment I came to 11th grade, I said no to science. It was hard to figure out what I wanted to do if I wasn't doing engineering because I have been preparing to do that for my whole life.
I came to college with Business Economics and immediately started looking into other majors, anything I would find interesting like Astrophysics, Geography, or even Mathematics but I couldn't see myself doing that for my future so I stuck with economics.
I added Linguistics Computer Science because I have always love languages and at the same time, I am very interested in machine learning and programming and this major combines both and gives me the education that I want.
The main thing that you should think about before choosing your major(s) is that you should be comfortable with that subject, not in the way that you are inherently good at it, but if you get a C, you are still willing to continue with that subject and learn more.
Your major isn't about your GPA but it's about your passion to pursue that no matter what.
So maybe my GPA will take a hit with my tight schedule and vast classes but I will do it because I want to and that's how I know I have made the right choice.
