She may spend more time in her advisor's office than at your place, but that doesn't mean she loves her advisor more.

If you're dating a girl with a double major, there are probably a few things you've already figured out, like hanging out on a weekday really means occasionally glancing at each other while you study for hours. And even though she's busy, you make it work. But trust me when I tell you there is a lot more to know about her.

Here are 15 things your double-major lady is thinking and wants you to know too.

1. Her schedule is literally insane

College is already busy enough with one major, but a second major doesn't make it any easier. Some days, she will plan her schedule down to the second because that’s the only way to get everything done.

2. She's not always going have time for you

That busy schedule means making time for you and her friends is always going to be a challenge, but that doesn't mean she doesn't wish she could. Juggling a double course load, student organizations, family, friends, sleep, and you. It's a big commitment, and she may be overwhelmed but just remember, she made this choice, you aren't too much for her, school isn't too much for her. Just hang in there.

3. You won’t see her out at the bars every night, and if you do that doesn't mean she is neglecting school work

Studious girls can still have fun! You probably won’t see her out at the bars every weekend, but maybe you will. Juggling two majors usually means choosing between getting work done and going out with friends, but the girl ambitious enough to take on two majors can usually make time for both. Be patient, bar nights with you are in the near future.

4. She's stressed out

Chances are her course load is about as stressful as it gets, and her mood may take a hit. Rub her back while she studies, bring her favorite snacks to perk her up. But don't ever call her out when she is too overwhelmed to hang out with you, school comes first, buddy.

5. She needs you to be her support system

I might be jumping the gun here, but let me guess you're probably in one of her two majors? Wanna know why? Built-in study partner!... that she loves! There’s nothing wrong with being your girlfriend’s tutor too. After a long day of classes, what better way to do your homework then alongside your boyfriend.

And if not all she wants is a shoulder to lean on or a pep talk to keep her going, graduation will be here in no time.

6. Her bank account will take a hit

A double major means a whole extra set of classes to fit into four years, more books to buy, and you are trying to add a side-hustle to support that? Umm, do you want to see her like never? Any date where you pay is a good date for her, or anything free. Spring for the picnic on the quad over lunch at a cute diner.

7. Her planner is literally her best friend. Did you really think it was you?

With a schedule like hers, if there’s one thing she can’t live without, it’s her planner. Without it, she would forget half of her responsibilities. If she had to pick between you in her planner, I don't know it might be a toss-up.

8. She’s super passionate about her two majors

Chances are she’s not double-majoring for no reason. She’s double-majoring because she’s super passionate about learning as much as possible about both.

9. She may choose Netflix over you, but she wants to choose both

Every date is Netflix and pizza night. Some nights she might just be too tired to do anything but snuggle up in bed and watch Grey's Anatomy. And she barely has time to watch new episodes anyway so when she has the chance to kill two birds with one stone, she'll take it. Earn some brownie points and keep her company, through all the Mer-Der drama.

10. She’s lucky if she gets seven hours of sleep a night

Gone are the days of a cozy eight hours or more of sleep every night. Most nights, she gets around five hours of sleep. Beware—sleep deprivation may (will) bring out the worst in her.

11. She may not be able to graduate on time, and maybe she will

Some majors have four-year requirements, but some are too different to rely on dual-credit to graduate in four years. She may be on a five-year plan, which could affect both of your futures, but think about that extra year of visiting your girlfriend in college. They say they're the best four years of your life, and now you've got five.

12. She hates when you ask why she’s doing this to herself

She's ambitious, that's why. Anyone who decides to take on a second major and still manages to make time for everything else in their life, that includes you, is an absolute badass. Give yourself a pat on the back cause you’re dating a rock star.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
