These stages were lived in the process of writing this article because it is 11:56 PM on a Saturday night and my brain has officially checked out.
1. Procrastination
There's a reason there is a whole Spongebob episode on this topic. Anything and everything will suffice if it means you can put off writing for even just a little while longer.
2. Finding motivation
I tend to find motivation in the fact that if I don't write, I lose something that I can put on my resume.
3. Finding a topic
In the process of writing this article, in 2 hours I tried to write on 4 different subjects and still wrote this. Arguably this is the worst part in the process.
4. Actually writing
This also can bring us back to stage 2 because more motivation is required.
5. Finishing
I notoriously will start writing something and get halfway through and then just stop and never actually finish it.
6. Starting the process all over again
The life of a writer is pretty much just a continuous cycle of writer's block.
