In college, you meet so many people and quickly you meet your college best friends. It is a weird process, having to trust people that you just met and barely anything about. However, once you jump over that hurdle you have found your best friends and memories begin to be made. As you start making new friends, don't forget about your friends back at home and here is why.
1. They have been there from the beginning
Your friends back at home have been there from the beginning. They have seen you go from wearing electric blue eye shadow to knowing how to contour perfectly. They have been a huge part of your life and they deserve to be a part of this new chapter of your life with you
2. Going home for breaks would be really miserable if you didn't have friends to hang out with
People move on when you don't contact them because they feel like you have also moved on. Coming home for breaks is meant to spend as many time as possible with your friends before y'all go your separate ways. Without them breaks would be really lonely and that's not fun.
3. They are always a phone call away
They are your best friends and trust me they are always a phone call away because that is how it was before you guys went to college. They are still here for you and you miss them so call them.
4. They miss you also
You leaving your friends was probably really hard on them. They miss you and you should keep in contact with them because it's like y'all never left each other.
5. They will always be your best friends
