Inner beauty is so valuable to us, but not talked about enough. Seeing the beauty in ourselves. Many times that beauty is the what people already see. No one scrutinizes our flaws more than ourselves and that may be hard to believe; but many times we can be our own bully.
It's okay to admit that you might be having trouble with a positive perception on how you look. Many times we feel like we don't meet the standard of how society would like us to look. We might feel too skinny, too fat. It's okay to reach out for support and positive affirmation from your family and friends that come in all shapes and sizes. You're allowed to love how you look.
Everyone's experiences are unique, but I think that it is important to acknowledge that they ARE all unique. We should be able to talk to each other, try to understand what each of us is going through and see if we can figure out what we can do to make those struggles easier.
In the end our differences, our flaws, our individual body shapes: that's what makes us beautiful. Each line, each stretch mark, each roll, each hair, whatever moles or freckles, whatever the disability, whatever the pigmentation; they should be embraced! They shouldn't be things we are ashamed of.
Yes, that is easier said than done. So many are trying each and every day to love themselves. To look in the mirror, and appreciate themselves. All of themselves.
My main point is: if you have think thighs or skinny thighs, a big butt or a small butt; your body is beautiful. People do see the beauty in it. If you want to lose weight or gain weight, lose muscle or gain muscle, grow your hair out or shave your hair, become more masculine or become more feminine, whatever! That's great! Just as long as it is your decision, you're doing it for yourself and no one else.
Don't let anyone feel less than the beautiful person that you are because I assure you their opinion does not matter. I don't think I've ever seen one person that wasn't completely beautiful. Fella's, you too. Don't be afraid of being called beautiful.
